Arsenal secured top spot in their Europa League group as a much-changed side coasted to a 3-0 Europa League victory against Vorskla Poltava in sub-zero Kiev.
Goals from Emile Smith Rowe, a penalty from Aaron Ramsey and a third by Joe Willock means Arsenal have now extended their unbeaten run to 18 games in all competitions.
The match had initially been in doubt because of security concerns in Poltava, but Uefa intervened and moved the tie to Ukraine’s capital.
Around 500 travelling Gooners watched as Smith Rowe netted his second in as many Europa League games after the ball fell kindly to him 12 yards out.
Aaron Ramsey – in his final season for the club – dusted himself off after being bundled over inside the area to roll the ball past Bohdan Shust from the spot.
And Willock concluded the evening’s work before half-time with his first for the club.
The Gunners are flying back to the UK and will begin preparation for Sunday’s North London Derby.
