Arsenal ‘invincible’ Lauren has urged Unai Emery to bring Anthony Martial to the Emirates.

The France forward was expected to leave Old Trafford in the summer after his agent confirmed he was keen to secure a transfer exit.

Martial joined United from Monaco in the summer of 2015, for a fee that could eventually rise to more than £60 million, but Jose Mourinho appears to see him as nothing more than a utility player. Despite being out of favour, the 22 year-old is still impressing with seven goals in 16 games.

And Lauren has believes Arsenal would be crazy not to try and sign him.

‘He’s a fantastic player and is starting to show what he can really do when given a good run of games,’ said the former Gunner (via Metro).

‘Martial won’t go anywhere without being guaranteed first team football, which I think he would get at Arsenal.’

Lauren, 41, also advised Arsenal to do ‘everything they can’ to sign Ousmane Dembele.

‘Everything about his style of play matches what Arsenal are looking for,’ he added.

‘Dembele can play on either side of the pitch, which is a bonus and he’s showed that he can do it against the big teams, coming off the bench to rescue points for Barcelona. ‘I would love to see him at Arsenal.’

Dembele or Martial, Gooners?
