Arsenal were pegged back twice by Manchester United on Wednesday night as the sides ultimately drew 2-2 in the league.

The Gunners had to respond to injuries on several occasions, but showed good commitment to maintain and stretch their unbeaten run to 20 matches.

Aaron Ramsey was first subbed at half-time – though Emery described the Welshman’s injury as “small”.

Rob Holding’s was more serious, with the centre-half forced to be stretched off in the second period.

“The worst news for us,” said Emery (via Football.London).

“Rob holding we are going to wait for the doctors, but it is a big injury. It’s his knee.

Overall though, the Gunners boss said he was pleased with the team’s performance.

“I am very proud for our work and how every player responded in the 90 minutes.

“When we are winning it was a good moment but they equalised very quickly.

“The second half I think our players worked to win. We were close more than them to get the third goal, but De Gea made good saves.

“It looked like Shkodran Mustafi suffered an injury of his own towards the end, but the midfielder hobbled on.

Unai Emery will undoubtedly be concerned ahead of the Gunners home tie with Huddersfield Town on Saturday.

Arsenal have dropped out of the top four, but are now level on points with Chelsea after the Blues’ shock defeat to Wolves.
