Arsenal have been handed a major boost ahead of their Premier League clash at West Ham on Saturday.
Mesut Ozil and Hector Bellerin were among six stars back in training on Wednesday ahead of Saturday’s game, live on Sky Sports (12:30).
Unai Emery has been forced to field a makeshift defence in recent weeks as his team stumbled through the festive season.
Laurent Koscielny returned to training, having pulled out of Arsenal’s FA Cup clash at Blackpool just minutes before kick-off because of a back injury. Meanwhile, Shkodran Mustafi (hamstring), Nacho Monreal (hamstring) and Dinos Mavropanos (groin) also took part in the session at Colney.
The news will be music to Arsenal fan’s ears, particularly with games against Champions League rivals Chelsea and Manchester United on the horizon.
Danny Welbeck (ankle) and Rob Holding (knee) are still recovering from surgery, while Henrikh Mkhitaryan is expected to rejoin full training next month following a foot injury.
