Arsenal may be the most successful club in the history of the FA Cup, having won the world’s most famous cup competition 13 times, yet there is a debate being had as to whether the Gunners should take this season’s tournament as seriously as they have in recent years.
Arsene Wenger led Arsenal to three of the last five FA Cups yet this Friday’s fourth round clash against Manchester United at the Emirates isn’t necessarily being seen as important as usual by all fans.
With a top four place hanging in the balance following Saturday’s 2-0 victory over a limp Chelsea side and Europa League fixtures kicking back in next month, the Cup is probably third on Unai Emery’s list of priorities for the 2018/19 campaign.
So should Emery field a full strength team against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s in form Red Devils or rest key players for the top four battle and Europa League fixtures?
The question was put to several Gunners fans on our Youtube channel this week and you can see what they thought in the video above.
