The news has finally been confirmed tonight that, as of this summer, Aaron Ramsey will no longer be an Arsenal player and will instead be plying his trade for Serie A champions Juventus.
The deal will see the Welshman become the highest earning British footballer of all time in terms of basic salary, pocketing a reported £400,000-per-week in Turin.
Ramsey arrived in North London as a teenager in 2008 and, despite suffering a near career ending injury during a Premier League clash against Stoke City in 2010, went onto become one of the Gunners most important players of the past decade.

The Wales international scored winners in two separate FA Cup finals, first against Hull City in 2014, ending the club’s nine year wait for a trophy and then again against Chelsea in 2017.
Not long after the news of his departure was confirmed, Ramsey took to social media to express his gratitude to Arsenal and the club’s fans for everything over his 11 years with the club.
