He may have been one of the signings of the season, but Matteo Guendouzi could end up being a signing for a season if Paris Saint-Germain get their way.
The French champions are being heavily linked with a move for the young midfielder and Arsenal are now believed to have set an asking price for the former Lorient player.
Guendouzi cost the Gunners just £6 million last summer and has quickly established himself as a first team regular in Unai Emery’s midfield.
The Sunday Express are today reporting that PSG have monitored Guendouzi throughout this season across his 33 appearances and are now weighing up a summer move for the teenager.

And while Arsenal are obviously not looking to encourage any bids for Guendouzi, the current reported £45 million transfer budget Unai Emery is being given at the end of the season is in serious need of bolstering.
Therefore, a £60 million price tag has been placed on Guendouzi’s head which, in fairness, is unlikely to deter a club who threw £200 million at Barcelona for Neymar and £165 million at Monaco for Kylian Mbappe.
With Aaron Ramsey departing for Juventus this summer, Arsenal can ill afford to lose another important midfield player, especially one with the potential of Guendouzi.
