If you were on the fence about making the journey stateside for Arsenal’s pre-season tour of America, the freshly released International Champions Cup fixtures might just whet your appetite enough to take a trip stateside, this summer.
The Gunners’ didn’t fare too badly in last year’s tournament, battering PSG 5-1 and beating Chelsea via a penalty shootout, finishing fourth in the tournament overall.
This time round, the opposition will be tougher and more high profile, with Roma, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid awaiting the Gunners in the US.
Up first are Bundesliga champions Bayern at Dignity Health Sports Park (awful, awful name for a stadium) in Carson, California on 17th July.
Following that, the Gunners face Roma three days later at the home of the NFL’s Carolina Panthers – The Bank of America stadium.
Finally we meet Zinedine Zidane’s Los Blancos at FedEx Field in Maryland on 23rd July.
We are heading to the USA! 🇺🇸

With 75,000 and 82,000 people able to fit into the Bank of America Stadium and FedEx Field respectively, there could be some atmosphere generated during the Roma and Real games in particular.
Let’s hope there’s a few new signings debuting these fixtures.
