Unsurprisingly, given the galaxy of stars he has shared a dressing room and a pitch with, Cesc Fabregas isn’t short of options when putting together his all time fantasy XI.
The Spanish midfielder has played alongside some of the greatest of all time during his spells with Arsenal, Barcelona and Chelsea, so when it came time to select a starting XI of former teammates, the former Arsenal captain had some incredibly difficult choices to make.
Disappointingly, more Chelsea names made their way into the line up than Arsenal legends, with Cesc also sparing himself a starting berth.
Spain’s all time leading goal scorer David Villa is another high profile absentee, along with former Barcelona skipper Carrels Puyol and the legendary Xavi.
I didn’t know they’d ask me this so I did it very quickly. Only players I played with. I feel Puyol & Villa should be there.
What are your thoughts?
No sabía q me preguntarían esto así q lo hice rápido. Puyol y Villa deberían estar pero tenía q variar.
Que opináis de este XI? pic.twitter.com/fs168z5dVt

Predictably, Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta, Patrick Vieira and Thierry Henry all make the XI, with Eden Hazard and Diego Costa rounding out the attack.
At the back, Dani Alves, Gerard Pique, John Terry and Jordi Alba protect Iker Casillas in a star studded, trophy laden defence.
What do you make of Cesc’s line up? Who would you drop and who would you replace them with from the Spanish midfielder’s glittering career? Anyone?
