Bukayo Saka was forced out of Arsenal’s 3-1 win over Liverpool due to a knock on his foot, manager Mikel Arteta revealed after the match.
Saka was on the scoresheet against The Reds, as the 22-year-old opened the scoring for the Gunners 14 minutes into the first half.
In the second half, Saka was replaced by Reiss Nelson in the 79th minute after he required medical attention for a kick to the leg.
Saka limped off the pitch, but Arteta told the media after the match that he should be fine.
Arteta said: “He should be fine, I think. He got a kick, I think, on the ankle or the back of his foot, but he should be fine.”
With Sunday’s win, Arsenal are now two points below Premier League leaders Liverpool and will take on West Ham United next Sunday.
