Kai Havertz Injury Update: Arsenal Star Set to Leave Germany Camp for Scan

The Arsenal forward will return to his club after suffering a suspected hamstring injury during Germany’s 1-1 draw with the Netherlands.

Arsenal forward Kai Havertz is set to leave Germany’s international camp and undergo a scan after suffering a suspected hamstring injury during Thursday’s 1-1 draw with the Netherlands, according to David Ornstein and Sebastian Stafford-Bloor of The Athletic.

The 27-year-old was forced off during the first half at the Johan Cruyff Arena after pulling up with the injury. He will now return to Arsenal’s facilities, with initial optimism that the problem is not serious.

Havertz’s departure comes with Germany preparing for the remainder of the international break without the Arsenal forward, although the full extent of his injury will only become clear after further assessment.

Havertz and Musiala face Germany absence

Germany head coach Jurgen Klopp confirmed after the match that Havertz and Jamal Musiala were likely to miss the remainder of the international break.

Musiala had already been withdrawn from the starting XI after suffering a thigh injury during the warm-up.

“At the moment both are on the MRI (scans),” Klopp told radio network RTL after his first game in charge of Germany.

“I hope we get the diagnosis tonight. But of course that’s not great now. I hope this is just nothing bad. The boys are probably out for us. But hopefully then also relatively quickly available again.”

Havertz’s return to Arsenal will allow the club’s medical staff to assess the injury before determining the next steps in his recovery.

The forward has been an important part of Mikel Arteta’s plans at the beginning of the season, starting all five of Arsenal’s Premier League matches and scoring twice.

    Arsenal await scan results

The timing of the injury will be monitored closely by Arsenal, particularly with Havertz having established himself as Arteta’s preferred option in attack during the opening weeks of the campaign.

The initial indication that the suspected hamstring problem may not be serious provides some encouragement, but the scan will determine whether Havertz faces any significant period on the sidelines.

Havertz was not the only player forced off with a suspected hamstring injury during the match. Sunderland striker Brian Brobbey also left the field during the first half.

Germany had taken the lead through Felix Nmecha before Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo equalised in stoppage time to earn new Netherlands head coach Xavi Hernandez a point.

For Arsenal, attention will now turn to the results of Havertz’s scan and whether the forward can return to full fitness in time for the club’s next fixtures.

Kai Havertz leaving the Germany camp for further assessment is certainly something Arsenal supporters will be watching closely. He came off during the first half of the 1-1 Nations League draw with the Netherlands after suffering what has been described as a suspected muscle or hamstring strain, and he is returning to Arsenal for treatment and further tests. ([Sky Sports][1])

The encouraging part is that early reports suggest there is some optimism that the problem may not be serious, although the scan should provide a much clearer picture. Havertz had started Arsenal’s first five Premier League matches, so his availability will be important as the season continues. Between following the latest football updates and taking a short break https://hellspin-australien.net/ can be a simple way to change the pace for a few minutes. Hopefully the assessment brings positive news and allows him to return quickly.

The timing makes the medical assessment especially important: Havertz reportedly pulled up and left the match during the first half of Germany’s 1-1 draw with the Netherlands. A scan should clarify whether this is a short-term precaution or an issue that could affect Arsenal’s upcoming selection plans. Until the results are known, it seems sensible to avoid firm predictions about his availability or recovery timeline.

The key uncertainty is not merely that Havertz left the match, but what the scan will establish about the suspected hamstring issue. Early updates can easily turn a precaution into a prediction, so it is sensible to separate the confirmed facts—a first-half withdrawal and return to his club—from any estimate of absence. The result will matter for both Germany’s camp and Arsenal’s immediate planning, but medical assessment should lead the discussion.
