There has been speculation over Jorginho’s future in recent weeks, with the Arsenal midfielder linked to moves in Italy and Saudi Arabia.
However, the Italy international will be staying in North London for the upcoming 2023/24 season, confirms Joao Santos, Jorginho’s agent.
In a recent interview with TuttoMercatoWeb, Santos revealed the 31-year-old is happy at Arsenal, and is fully focused on the season, which kicks off on Saturday against Nottingham Forest.
Santos said: “He will stay at Arsenal. He is happy to be in England. Let’s move on.
“Some rumours, for example from Saudi Arabia. Someone called me, but nothing concrete.
“Jorginho is also appreciated in Spain, he’s an important player. He will stay at Arsenal.
“Jorginho is focused, thinking about Saturday and playing his sixth year of the Premier League as well as his fifth year of the Champions League.
“And above all it is focused on the national team.”
