Gabriel Jesus missed Arsenal’s 3-1 win over Liverpool on Sunday evening due to an issue with his previous knee injury.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta told the media ahead of the match that the Brazilian had a “set back” during a training session leading up to the weekend.
Arteta said pre-match: “Unfortunately he had a setback in training and was not fit to play. It is something related to that [previous knee injury]. Hopefully a short-term [injury], but the game will be too fast for him.”
Following the game, Arteta said Jesus will be out for “days.”
“With Gabby we expect it to be something about days,” revealed Arteta.
