After falling short in the Champions League final to back-to-back champions PSG, Arsenal are set to spend big this summer to try and go one further.
On Saturday, Arsenal were just moments away from making history and winning their first-ever Champions League trophy.

However, after Ousmane Dembele equalised with a penalty, the game finished level and ended up being decided by penalties.
Gabriel missed the decisive penalty, handing PSG the Champions League trophy for a second year running; however, Arsenal celebrated their Premier League title around North London the next day, remembering the incredible season they had had regardless of the final defeat.
Arsenal Spending big this summer
With the season now over, Mikel Arteta and his backroom staff will be looking at what changes they can make to their title-winning team to make Arsenal even stronger next season.
Gabriel Jesus is expected to be on the move this summer, allowing the club to free up some hefty wages and move forward with summer signings that will strengthen and push the Gunners onto even more success next season.
According to Jamie Dickenson on X, Arsenal are set to respond to Saturday’s defeat with a mega £300 million spending spree this summer. Two main targets for Arsenal are reported to be willing to pay out £175 million for Bournemouth’s Eli Junior Kroupi and Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers.
The Kroenke family will also sanction a further £125 million for Mikel Arteta to spend on his defence and midfield, as long as the club can recoup roughly £100 million from player sales. Jakub Kiwior, Fabio Vieira and Reiss Nelson will all be moved on this summer, whilst Ethan Nwaneri will be included with the first team next season.

After the 22-year wait to be crowned Premier League champions, Arsenal look like a team that will grow in confidence and bounce back after losing the Champions League final to PSG.

With the balance in squad depth and the players all experiencing the joy of winning as well as the heartache of losing, Arsenal are in a strong position to go again next season and win even more trophies.
